The Wild Locals operate a certified food processing facility in the heart of Clatskanie where we produce value-added sauces, dips, spreads and more featuring nearly 100% locally cultivated and wild foraged ingredients. We don’t take shortcuts.
Of the few ingredients sourced beyond our region, we strive to find viable local substitutes or challenge our growing capacity for crops like olives, lemons, maple syrup, and more.
Some say playing with your food is not acceptable, we disagree ;)
What is jun? Jun is…fun, hun, a whole ton! Like we won, like the deed’s done, like we ain’t the only one in it for the long run, like we dun’ done with the shun, like goosebumps from the rerun, this life circle spun, like a pun stun bar none, sexier than a man bun (and that says a LOT!)
okay, seriously, it’s basically honey-kombucha. Single-origin Argentinian yerba mate AND/OR locally grown Temperate Holy Basil, Humble Bee Honey (antibiotic and pesticide tested!), a GIANT SCOBY (Symbiotic Community Of Bacteria & Yeast), and any flavor your heart desires.
